Job Ad: Part-Time Event Facilitator For SpeedNetworking.com Events

SpeedNetworking.com – the leader in business matchmaking software and speed networking events – is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to assist in a part-time capacity with our accelerated growth.

Responsibilities:

Identify partner organizations to host speed networking events

Coordinate marketing efforts to promote events

Follow up with all inquiries about specific events

Follow up and confirm event participation with all participants

Arrive a minimum of one hour early before an event begins to ensure everything is in order

Managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of guest relations

Prepare the room in which the event will be held

Distribute personalized networking schedules during registrations

Assist with any registration issues

Track and handle payments and registrations of participants

Act as emcee of the event and ensure the event runs smoothly

Contribute to a team effort by assisting with various projects and related duties

Qualifications:

Resourceful, motivated and can work autonomously

Excellent writing and verbal communication

Positive, flexible and focused with an emphasis on a can-do, hands-on approach and philosophy

Ability to operate independently and proactively is a must

Strong ability to prioritize, manage and complete multiple assignments with a strong attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to work evenings

Professional appearance and demeanor

Compensation:

Compensation is based on a percentage of earnings per event.
