Job Ad: Part-Time Event Facilitator For SpeedNetworking.com Events

SpeedNetworking.com – the leader in business matchmaking software and speed networking events – is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to assist in a part-time capacity with our accelerated growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify partner organizations to host speed networking events
  • Coordinate marketing efforts to promote events
  • Follow up with all inquiries about specific events
  • Follow up and confirm event participation with all participants
  • Arrive a minimum of one hour early before an event begins to ensure everything is in order
  • Managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of guest relations
  • Prepare the room in which the event will be held
  • Distribute personalized networking schedules during registrations
  • Assist with any registration issues
  • Track and handle payments and registrations of participants
  • Act as emcee of the event and ensure the event runs smoothly
  • Contribute to a team effort by assisting with various projects and related duties

    Qualifications:
  • Resourceful, motivated and can work autonomously
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication
  • Positive, flexible and focused with an emphasis on a can-do, hands-on approach and philosophy
  • Ability to operate independently and proactively is a must
  • Strong ability to prioritize, manage and complete multiple assignments with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work evenings
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

    Compensation:
  • Compensation is based on a percentage of earnings per event.
