Recent SpeedNetworking.com Testimonials
“As a board member of the Young Non-Profit Professionals Network in
Chicago, I partnered with SpeedNetworking.com on a crossover
event between the corporate and non-profit sectors. The event was
flawlessly managed and incredibly well received. I would highly recommend
not only the concept but also the talent and energy of Michael Slater.”
~ Ray Nedohon, Young Non-Profit Professionals
“Michael Slater created the concept of growing your network quickly but with a
continued focus on building quality relationships. It’s difficult to mix
speed and numbers with quality when it comes to building relationships. He continues to innovate
and evolve around it to make it possible. I would recommend SpeedNetworking.com to any organization that wants to help its
constituents interact more and learn how to build relationships.”
~ Michael Tomasello, former president of Purdue University alumni in

Speed Networking Case Study
Problem:
Dave recently switched positions in his company. He is now responsible
for the procurement of various services. While he has some contacts for
his new role, he would prefer to meet new potential vendors.
Solution:
Dave participated in a series of speed networking events where he was
able to pre-select the industries he needed to network with to meet the
needs of his company. By selecting specific industries, he was able to
reduce the cold calling of potential providers and leveraged speed
networking to meet several vendors in a series of short meetings.
Results:
Dave substantially reduced his time to meet several potential vendors
for his company. Furthermore, he also met several people in the
industries he is seeking for vendors and was able to generate a larger
pool of referrals. He substantially increased the pool of potential
vendors and began building new relationships with them. Within two
months of speed networking and effective follow-ups, he grew a list of
60 potential providers who were all referred.
