We recently teamed up with Forrester for their CX SF event in San Francisco, as well as their Digital Business event in Chicago. SpeedNetworking.com helped plan and produce targeted networking sessions to connect attendees at their user conferences. This was an exciting opportunity for attendees to discuss industry challenges, explore new business opportunities, review Forrester products, and create meaningful new business relationships during a breakout session.
We produced 2 separate sessions at the CX SF event, as well as the Digital Business event. Each session lasted approximately 45-55 minutes, with approximately 10-minutes built-in for check-in. We worked with Forrester to develop floor layouts that enabled us to host up to 50 participants. One of the events took place in the main hall next to the vendors/booths and the other session took place in a private room. These sessions were held during a "networking break" in the conference and enabled those who were interested in additional networking opportunities to make 4-5 targeted connections in a short period of time.
All participants created a personlized matching profile that indicated their professional backgrond, as well as the types of individuals they wanted to meet. The were matched based on these industry backgrounds and connected with with other attendees based on a mutual interest in meeting one another. The average connection score (determined by our software) was 92%, which means a lot of GREAT meetings were taking place.
Our team managed the event on-site to ensure the participants had a positive experience. This also provided peace of mind to the Forrester events team, as this was one less critical detail that they needed to worry about.
Do you have 45-60 minutes available at your conference to enable attendees to connect with one another? Let us show you how!
